Too often we encounter people imprisoned for months or years before their trial even starts, who have no idea of their rights, no comprehension of the local legal system and no legal aid to help them pay for a lawyer or interpreter.

From its London office FTI’s small team of dedicated and professional staff and volunteers make an enormous difference to people’s lives. We have helped thousands of people to defend the right to a fair trial outside their own country and secured the release of victims of miscarriages of justice across the globe.

With your support we will continue to fight individual cases of injustice and will campaign for fair trials for people all over the world.
