Extradition reform submission to the Home Affairs Committee
Fair Trials International has submitted a six point plan for reforming the UK's extradition arrangements to the Home Affairs Committee.
The reforms proposed include: no extradition until a case is trial ready; allowing courts to seek further information from the requesting state before extradition; and abolishing means-testing for legal aid in all extradition cases.
