Andrew Symeou criticises extradition laws

Jago Russell, the chief executive of the campaign organisation Fair Trials International, said: “I think we need an effective extradition system in Europe… but the problem with the one we’ve got now is that was rushed through after 9/11, and basically [has] none of the safeguards that are desperately needed in this kind of system."
